Really enjoyed your story. I love this 'new' Spike - strong, and confident. I have always thought the Shanshu would be kind of a little sad for a vampire. It would almost be like going blind, deaf, and paralyzed all at the same time, all the while everyone saying how happy you should be. More then that though would be that being human, Spike would just be a regular guy - a normal, average, regular guy, how boring would that be? Thanks for a great story.

I read this one on Herself's site and it's one of the best stories out there. I highly recommend it. It's bleak but it's honest and it's absorbing and it ends well. All good things. Thanks for adding this story to the site and thank you Herself for sharing it with us.
