Absolutely delicious AU fic. Loved the very typical setting for their meeting, how the sparks few and all the fantastic interaction with the kids. Very believable (well, of course, Spike should be a famous rock god) dialogue for the characters. Just a treat to read. So glad you let yourself go over three chapters on this.

i wish you hadn't decided that three chapters were all that you would bestow on us mere mortals with no talent for writing. so wanted to hear what happened after the scout camp came to a close. please Sir, I want some more! thanks for the lovely escape from the rat race all the same
